Walk-in showers

The walk-in shower, without a nasty surprise two years later

A level-access shower is 90% invisible preparation: calculated slope, continuous waterproofing, properly sized drainage. We do all three, then the tiling — ultra-flat tray or built-in linear drain.

What we do

From the substrate right up to the tap

Ultra-flat tileable tray

Ready-to-tile board with built-in slope, set at finished-floor level for step-free access.

level access

Built-in linear drain

Linear drain against the wall, a single slope, large tiles without diagonal cuts: the continuous-floor effect right into the shower.

single slope

Complete waterproofing

Waterproof membrane on floor and walls, pipe collars, corner tape: the continuous protection under the tiles, installed before the first tile.

floor + walls

Complete bathroom

Floor, walls, bath panel, tiled niches and benches, coordinated with your plumber.

Frequently asked questions

Walk-in showers: what we get asked

Is a walk-in shower possible in a renovation, upstairs?

In most cases, yes. The constraint is the height available for the drain: depending on the depth under the screed, we go for an ultra-flat tileable tray or a built-in linear drain. We confirm it during the site visit, before any commitment.

How do you guarantee waterproofing under the tiles?

A continuous membrane on the floor and walls of the wet zone, collars at pipe penetrations, bonded corner tape — all before the first tile. The invisible part of the job, and the one where a mistake only shows two years later.

Linear drain or centre drain: which to choose?

A built-in drain against the wall allows a single slope in one direction: ideal for large formats and the continuous-floor effect. A centre drain needs four slopes and diagonal cuts, better suited to small tiles or mosaic.

Do you redo the whole bathroom?

We handle all the tiling: floor, walls, shower, bath panel. Plumbing and electricity stay with your installer, with whom we coordinate the schedule — each to their own trade.
